Public transportation costs to enable individuals to access services and resources specified in the individual’s support plan.
Transportation by providers, family members, surrogates who are the employer or managing employer, or other qualified licensed drivers for using vehicles to transport the individual to and from services specified in the individual’s support plan. Mileage will be paid per trip. A trip is defined as from the point of pick-up to the destination while the individual is in the car.
This service is transportation provided to individuals, with costs determined on a per- trip basis. Trip distances are defined by ODP through the use of zones.
